Men spent 30 years building a model of the USS New Mexico

New Mexico - Two Albuquerque men said they spent more than 30 years building a scale model of the USS New Mexico. Cecil Whitson and Keith Liotta said the model, which is due to go on display at the New Mexico History Museum in Santa Fe, took them far longer to build than the 18 months the New York Navy Yard spent building the battleship during the closing months of World War I.  More…
