Odd News-10-year-old drives car through brick wall - Mother charged

An Iowa City woman was charged with child endangerment after her 10-year-old daughter drove their car through a brick wall last summer.
According to police complaints, at 11 p.m. on July 24, Cameshia Genus’s 1992 Ford Taurus crashed through a brick wall at 1958 Broadway St. and Genus, 36, of 1100 Arthur St., Apt. J6, fled the scene. A police investigation revealed that before the crash, Genus’s 10-year-old daughter was in the driver’s seat with the engine running. More...
