Fake “Nurse of the Year” Headed to Prison

Connecticut - A woman who staged a dinner honoring herself as “Nurse of the Year” will spend nine months in prison for practicing nursing without a license. Betty Lichtenstein, 57, of Danbury was working for Dr. Gerald Weiss in 2009, when Weiss complained to the Connecticut Department of Health that Lichtenstein had acted unprofessionally. Texas - A former Pranknet member has been sentenced to five years in prison for a hoax call that resulted in significant damage to a McDonald’s in Texas. Bizarre News-Man Faces Prison for Allegedly Attacking Neighbor With Centipedes

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — A Malaysian man has been accused of trying to hurt his neighbor with a dangerous weapon — centipedes.
Prosecutor Mazri Mohamed said Wednesday that R. Prabakaran has been charged with attempting to cause harm with a dangerous weapon after allegedly unleashing four centipedes and bugs in his neighbor's bed last week following an argument.
