TSA staff hates fat and stinky passengers


USA - Furious security staff have hit back at pat down searches in place across America, claiming that they hated dealing with obese travellers and those with personal hygiene problems. After being contacted by a travel blog, 17 staff have also expressed their disgust after the policy was put in place last month. They hated having to carry out the body searches, with one claiming that it was worse for him than the passenger....More

Passengers do not have to remove turbans, if uncomfortable


Washington DC - An Indian lawmaker from Punjab said she had asked President Barack Obama to put a stop to the U.S. border practice of frisking Sikh turbans. Sikhs worldwide have long protested the American security measure as discriminatory and unnecessary. New U.S. guidelines put into effect two weeks ago no longer require air passengers to remove turbans if doing so makes them uncomfortable, the U.S. Transport Security Administration said.....More
